Don't Toss it! Repurpose!
These boats are on Lindisfarne (Holy Island) - the northeast coast of England, the fishermen have a great way to recycle their old boats by turning them upside down and creating storage sheds !
Tradition brought by the Norsemen who settled in coastal areas of the UK in the Dark Ages- they dragged their boats up the beach, built stone walls, then upturned their boats and lifted them on top - result : excellent rain proof house for minimal work. (Same can be seene in Hebrides where the Vikings also went). Clever people, the Vikings.
