Over the next few days we will be posting photographs taken at past shows from the booths of dealers who are participating in the Antique Festival of the Ozarks, October 24 & 25 at the Ozark Empire Fairgrounds. Then, next Friday, we will be taking photographs during set-up to give you a sneak peek of items available at the show! These pics are from Michael Cantrell of the Chicken Coop, joining us for the show next weekend with a creative mix of farmhouse/primitive treasures.

Antiquing is a great way to preserve the old things, and keep it all reclaiming and going around.  30 years ago, when people moved, they took a big trip to the local landfill and threw things away.  Today, with the internet, everything goes round and round.  That might be bad for the manufacturing sector, but it's good for the planet, and good for resellers.  It also builds value into the things you hold onto instead of making them worthless.  There's good fun in reminiscing over things your remember from your childhood when you get older.
