Frost Advisory in effect for northeastern Oklahoma

The National Weather Service has issued a Frost Advisory for most of northeastern Oklahoma and northwestern Arkansas. Cold temperatures are expected Wednesday night into Thursday morning.

A surface ridge of high pressure is expected to slide overhead late Wednesday night, allowing for maximum potentialradiational cooling. Temperatures in some areas will near the freezing point.

The Frost Advisory is in effect for the following counties from midnight to 9 a.m. Thursday: Sebastian, Pushmataha, Pawnee, Tulsa, Cree, Okfuskee, Okmulgee, Wagoner and LeFlore.
