Couple Builds DIY Reclaimed Off Grid Tiny Cabin for $7k

This couple decided to build their own tiny house out of mainly reclaimed materials. The house itself is about 250 square feet and cost them around $7,000 to make. They performed all the labor in putting it all together. They built the home on their own land so they were able to continuously make modifications and improvements to fit their needs such as adding on a porch and a bathroom to the original floor plan. The cabin was originally 12×20 until adding those on – after the additions the dimensions grew to 18×20. Most of the materials were salvaged from barns and other random items they repurposed.
