The Terrifying Video Of The Avalanche Coming Down On Mt. Everest Basecamp

Very few people can say they've climbed to the top of Mt. Everest, because it's an immensely daunting task. It's expensive, dangerous, and downright cold once you get up high enough. The paths to the top are littered with dead bodies, which makes reaching the summit even more ominous.

If you're wondering why so many people perish on their way to the top of the tallest mountain on Earth, it's because of things like this...

While settling in at camp on their journey up Mt. Everest, these people encountered the Nepal earthquake which set off a terrifying avalanche. The whole experience was caught on video to serve as a reminder of exactly how dangerous reaching this summit can be. (Language NSFW)


Luckily, it appears that a lot of the people in this video survived the accident. They must've been thanking God that they lived to tell the tale. Most people will never understand what a destructive force an avalanche is, but now we at least have some semblance of an idea...and I'd like to avoid them at all costs.
