This unique technology is the world`s first example of applying bran in production of tableware. It was invented by a Polish miller, from the family of over one hundred years’ milling tradition. Inspired by the flour production process and quantity of bran produced in its course, he decided to use bran in the way which is best both for the consumers and natural environment. The closely guarded secret of its technology is patent protected.

Production process developed byBiotrem takes place without addition of any hazardous chemical substances. The application of pressure and temperature makes the formation, protection and preservation of the final shape quick and energy efficient.  Our manufacture is located inZambrow – in a region, called Green Lungs of Poland and they make sure our bran comes from local, ecologically best sources. The innovative approach was appreciated by Polish Agency for Enterprise Development, which co-financedbuildup of our facilities. This significant support gave us an opportunity to extend our existing complex and machines – by the end of 2015, 22 fully operating machines will reach the production capacity of 15 million items a year. We treat our work just as a part of a holistic process. Used tableware can be transferred into biomass and pellet – development of this method also has been theyll received by various scientific institutes.

Their current offer consist of five basic shapes – two sizes of plates (20 cm and 24 cm), one bowl (20 cm) and two sizes of rectangular trays. Upon request - our creative team can design and produce individual shapes and sizes – they are very open for any suggestions and ideas from their clients and business partners. They also finished up new outlines – cups for coffee and other hot beverages, launched in 2015.
